Simple Tiki Bar Setups for Backyard Entertaining
They’re the cherry on top of your outdoor fun.
When you don’t feel like trekking to your neighborhood restaurant or watering hole, or you’re missing the laid back vibes of your last vacay, a great alternative is a backyard bar. While nothing short of a time machine can truly take you back to paradise, you can certainly recreate the vibes at home. Stock up your drink cart with your favorite mixers, cold beverages, corked bottles and festive mini umbrellas and craft the perfect party in the comfort of your yard.
If you have a small space, try an outdoor table that can raise to bar height with a cooler built into the base. Use the top to uncork a bottle, mix drinks, or simply set your glass down between sips, and stow in a corner of your garage or shed during off-season.
If you plan on playing barkeep, consider a setup that has storage for all of your essentials, including glassware. Having everything you might need fully stocked and at your fingertips means you spend more time enjoying your company and less time pouring refills.
Outdoor bars don’t need to be fancy. Just make sure whatever cart you use has the basics—a spot to hold drinks, ice, and a table top to hold it all.
